A world-première for people suffering from leprosy: custom-made 3D printed shoes. The result of a collaboration between CIOMAL Foundation of the Order of Malta and the Alliance Against Leprosy institute, this technology is life-changing for leprosy sufferers: it is useful both in treating complications of the disease and in the social reintegration of patients

Public awareness
Awareness campaigns in Cambodia are geared towards textile workers so that they learn to recognise the first signs and symptoms of the disease, and are aware of possible complications and treatment. 30,000 workers are trained every year, ensuring many families are informed.
